Job Requirements Ability to follow safety, quality, security, and operations policies and procedures Experience working with SOPs Understanding of industrial safe work practices Understanding of basic mechanical equipment operation Understanding of chemical operations and hazard communication policies Basic quality inspection experience Basic math skills Ability to complete safety rule and regulation training assessments by written or verbal examination Ability to understand and follow posted facility signage Understanding of lockout/tagout procedures Familiarity with standard operating procedures and operator manuals for safe equipment operation Ability to use required PPE for assigned tasks Ability to load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or with mechanical equipment Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, and kneel Ability to complete repetitive strenuous work under varying climate conditions 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision Ability to work in a plant environment with varying temperature levels and physical requirements Preferred Skills Forklift experience Experience working with chemicals Experience in light chemical manufacturing Experience reading and applying SOPs in a production environment Experience using industrial cleaning equipment Experience with spill containment and PPE procedures Experience supporting autonomous maintenance activities Experience conducting safety audits Job Responsibilities Follow standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety regulations Use proper PPE for each assigned task Maintain PPE in safe and usable condition Load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanical means Transfer finished products and raw materials throughout the plant and warehouse using a hand truck Deliver production items to designated work areas for processing Deliver processed units to storage or the next stage of processing Stack processed items in the warehouse Pack products in containers Monitor product quality throughout the production process Alert supervisors of potential out-of-compliance issues Participate in cross-training across plant line positions Keep production lines organized, clean, and free of hazards Grease, adjust, or clean specific parts of the production line in support of autonomous maintenance Perform general labor duties as needed to support production needs Attend safety meetings Conduct safety audits Clean and sanitize production floors, equipment exteriors, restrooms, break areas, and office spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using industrial cleaning equipment as needed Empty trash and recycling bins Transport waste to designated disposal areas Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and related supplies in restrooms and break areas Clean spills using appropriate spill containment and PPE procedures Assist with cleaning and sanitizing machinery and equipment as directed Maintain cleaning supply inventory Notify management when cleaning supplies require replenishment Report maintenance issues, equipment damage, and safety hazards to supervision
