Hiring a Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Greencastle, PA Job Description This 1st shift forklift operator role focuses on safely and efficiently loading, unloading, pulling, and case-picking product within a large warehouse environment. You will operate a stand-up forklift and RF scanner across dry, cooler, and freezer areas, supporting daily distribution activities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, safety, and flexibility. This is a long-term opportunity 1st shift Monday-Friday 4:30am-12:30pm

Pay Rate:

$20.25/hour Must have stand-up forklift experience Responsibilities Operate a stand-up forklift to load and unload product from trailers, docks, and storage locations. Pull product from designated warehouse locations to support order fulfillment and distribution needs. Perform case picking of product, typically 10-15% of the time, ensuring accuracy and proper handling. Use an RF scanner to locate, verify, and record product movements and inventory transactions. Work in multiple warehouse temperature zones, including dry storage, cooler (approximately 34°F), and freezer (approximately -10°F), as assigned. Move between different areas of the warehouse as needed, demonstrating flexibility in tasks and work locations. Lift and handle product weighing approximately 25-30 pounds on a regular basis while following safe lifting practices. Essential Skills Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse environment. Hands-on experience using RF scanners for inventory, picking, and product tracking. Ability to work in varied temperature environments, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, PA.
