Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for moving trailers, materials, and inventory throughout the yard and warehouse while supporting shipping, receiving, and production operations. Candidates must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment and spending approximately 60% of the workday outdoors in varying weather conditions. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials and trailers. Support shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Transport materials to production and assembly areas as needed. Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and damage prevention. Organize yard inventory and maintain proper material storage locations. Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly. Assist with inventory counts and material tracking. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines. Assist with additional warehouse and yard duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience required. Shipping and receiving experience preferred. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the shift. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and outdoor yard environment . Comfortable working outdoors for approximately 60% of the workday in varying weather Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Palmetto, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
