We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler with Crown stand-up and sit-down forklift experience to support warehouse and production operations on our overnight shift. Key Responsibilities Operate Crown stand-up and sit-down forklifts (including inverted steering) to safely transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility. Move aluminum, steel, and copper coils between storage, production areas, shipping, and receiving while supporting daily manufacturing operations. Perform material handling, loading/unloading, picking, packing, and production support activities across multiple departments. Maintain forklifts and equipment, remove scrap materials, record scrap weights, and report any operational or safety concerns. Assist production teams by feeding materials into machines and ensuring work areas remain clean, organized, and safe. Follow established quality, safety, and continuous improvement procedures while meeting productivity expectations. Support a team-oriented environment with flexibility to work overtime and assist wherever needed throughout the facility. Qualifications Previous experience operating Crown stand-up and sit-down forklifts is required. Experience with both battery-powered and propane-powered lift trucks . Ability to safely operate a forklift for 75% or more of the shift . Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Strong attention to safety, equipment care, and productivity. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
