Forklift Operator Job Description The role includes a variety of warehouse activities such as loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, and put-away. Warehouse Operators must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 40 lbs, and operate a stand-up forklift. Responsibilities Have complete knowledge of company GDPs. Count all products and check for damage, infestation, and unique product identifiers (part number, batches, etc.). Report any shortages, overages, or damages on appropriate forms. Apply appropriate labels to products. Efficiently stack and store products to prevent damage. Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area in accordance with company housekeeping policies and procedures. Responsible for Food Safety. The facility provides a clean and temperature-controlled environment with two 20-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Jessup, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
