Job Description The product stacker works along side fellow production workers and assists by manually or mechanically organizing, counting and stacking finished metal products (beams) for shipment in a fast-paced, industrial environment. Counts, inspects and stacks finished products as they come off the production line Builds secure, neat pallets according to facility specifications and weight limits Checks products for defects or damage and verify that labels match factory orders Assists machine operators and helps with setup, teardown, and minor troubleshooting Follows management instructions to improve work methods and prevent complaints or damages Adapts to changes in work priorities Maintains order and cleanliness by sweeping, clearing scrap, and organizing materials Respects environmental guidelines Ensures compliance with safety rules and monitors safety practices Wear required PPE for the job conditions including hot grip gloves for handling heated metal when necessary Reports all relevant information to supervisors to enable performance reporting to management by completing the end-of-shift report (documenting activities performed during the shift) Assists colleagues when needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to frequently lift and maneuver heavy materials (up to 50 - 70 lbs) in accordance with OSHA lifting guidelines Experience working in a high-pace, mass production or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and detecting anomalies Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and punctuality Additional information What do we offer you?
