Payroll & Benefits Specialist#26-01135

Adairsville, GA

Onsite Job Description Responsibilities:

Be a primary point of contact for payroll- and benefits-related questions for employees and managers

Conduct new-hire orientations covering payroll and benefits enrollment

Process weekly and monthly payroll, including overtime, bonuses, deductions, and garnishments

Maintain payroll records, reconcile accounts, and support payroll reporting and audits

Review and validate timesheets, PTO, bonuses, adjustments, and wage calculations prior to payroll submission

Ensure correct computation of wages, overtime, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings

Administer benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and 401(k) tracking

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on payroll experience processing payroll and administering benefits
  • Previous experience with employee benefit enrollment, including new hire, open enrollment, and qualifying events
  • Practical knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, FMLA/ADA, and benefits administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
