• Job Summary
• MOR PPM Inc. is interested in hiring a forklift operator in Aiken, SC. The Forklift/Loader Operator is responsible for the proper care and operation of equipment such as forklifts and loaders and for maintaining a safe working environment.
• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• + Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts + Operates company equipment safely + Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles + Records vehicle information accurately and legibly + Maintains a positive and professional demeanor + Follows yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.

e. speed limits, etc.) + Must be able to load and unload vehicles as required + Must be able to pass training and safety requirements + Performs other duties as assigned.

• Qualifications
• + Excellent customer service attitude and skills + Proficient written and verbal communication skills + Ability to operate basic equipment + Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment + Strong attention to detail + HS diploma or GED preferred
• Required Experience
• + At least two years of work experience + One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred

• Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• + Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign + May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds + Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above + Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas + Must have full range of motion consistent with age + Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders + Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises + Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces + Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
