Job Description

Overview Dart Advantage Warehousing is seeking a dependable and experienced Shipping & Receiving Lead to join our team in Buford, GA. This position combines hands-on warehouse and forklift operations with office and clerical responsibilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both at the office counter assisting drivers and on the warehouse floor operating a sit-down forklift.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safely load and unload trailers using a sit-down forklift.
  • Manage inbound and outbound driver check-in and check-out processes at the office counter.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and freight paperwork.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.
  • Stage freight and ensure inventory is placed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with daily dock organization and warehouse cleanliness.
  • Help coordinate the flow of incoming and outgoing freight.
  • Communicate professionally with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal management.
  • Follow company safety procedures and forklift operating requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Demonstrated experience operating a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Previous experience with shipping, receiving, freight paperwork, or warehouse administration preferred.
  • Comfortable using computers, email, data-entry systems, and basic office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to be hands-on and assist wherever needed
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
