Monday-Thursday/ 7AM-7
PM Job Summary:
To pull orders in a timely manner for shipping. Responsible for moving product or materials using powered vehicles. Operate industrial manual/powered pallet jack. Stock, picker or Hyster while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Must be able to pass licensing certifications for all assigned equipment.
Identify labels and products:
Must be able to read and interpret all types of carton/product labels for picking orders going to samples/cut table/ Domestics. Use scanner/CRT and/or reports to identify merchandise to be moved to and from warehouse locations for storage and order requirements. Check calendar to see what area to pull from
UPS/FEDEX
weekly or cross dock. Log all pull groups and labels out for pulling. Pick up a rack or a cage for pulling orders. Pull orders based off the pull sheet or sku summary by location and units. Take racks or cages to the packing floor as they are pulled and stage in the proper area. If you are the floater for the day, you will stage orders for packers and keep the proper cartons on the floor for packers. If pulling

no more than 25 - 30 rugs may be placed on a rack but fill up a cage. If you do not have anything to pull you will see your supervisor or lead person to be given instructions on what to do. Requirements and Skills High School/GED preferred. Read, write, and comprehend English. Computer experience required. Must be able to follow directions as given. Knowledge of AS400 Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, stand up lifts, reach lift and other warehouse equipment. Experience in voice picking systems or RF devices.
