1st Shift 6AM-2PM Position Summary The Forklift Operator / Loader is responsible for safely operating a forklift/clamp truck to move, load, unload, and stage finished products and materials throughout the facility. This position supports shipping and production by ensuring products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. Essential Job Duties Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move finished products and materials throughout the facility. Load and unload trailers according to shipping schedules and load requirements. Stage finished products in designated shipping and warehouse areas. Verify products, quantities, and load information before loading shipments. Inspect loads to ensure products are secure and free from visible damage. Maintain accurate movement and shipping information as required. Complete required pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment issues immediately. Follow all forklift, warehouse, shipping, and plant safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate with Shipping, Production, and other departments to support daily shipping needs. Report damaged products, unsafe conditions, shipping discrepancies, or equipment concerns to management. Perform additional warehouse, shipping, or production duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous forklift or clamp truck experience preferred. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or loading experience preferred. Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and product handling. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. Ability to safely enter and exit forklift equipment repeatedly. Ability to lift and/or move materials as required by the position. Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Safety Expectations Safety is an essential function of this position. Employees must follow all MasterCorr safety policies and powered industrial truck procedures at all times. Unsafe operation of equipment, failure to follow established procedures, or disregard for workplace safety requirements may result in disciplinary action.

Pay:

$21.00 per hour
