Job Description
Sit-Down Forklift Operator - Full-Time Dawsonville, GA Inova Staffing is seeking a skilled Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Dawsonville, GA. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating Sit-Down forklifts and safely moving steel materials throughout a manufacturing or recycling facility. Position OverviewAs a Sit-Down Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving and organizing electronics and materials safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with a team to maintain productivity, safety, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Load and unload trucks, containers and trailers.
Transport products to and from designated locations within the facility.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations for heavy material handling.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow efficiently.
Maintain accurate inventory and movement documentation.
Adhere to all company policies and safety standards.
Heavy lifting is required. QualificationsProven experience operating a
Valid forklift certification/license (preferred but NOT required).Strong understanding of forklift safety and load-handling protocols.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
Prior experience in steel manufacturing, recycling, or construction is a plus.
