Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and warehouse distribution will help us maintain a safe, organized, and productive environment. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, move, and position materials within the warehouse. Conduct order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Assist with shipping and receiving duties, ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are processed correctly. Handle materials with care during heavy lifting tasks, maintaining safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards. Manage inventory through proper stacking, storing, and organizing materials on pallets or racks to optimize space utilization. Support warehouse distribution activities by operating various mechanical tools and equipment for materials handling. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures. Experience Proven experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or construction environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and OSHA safety standards is highly desirable. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership roles is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation enhances efficiency and safety on the job site. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment tasks. Warehouse experience involving construction or industrial environments is beneficial for understanding complex logistics workflows. Pay:
$17.00 per hour
