Job Description
FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Location:
Locust Grove, GA Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - Finish (End time based on workload)Pay:
$16.00/hour We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This position requires a safety-focused individual with strong forklift operating skills and the ability to work efficiently in a production and warehouse environment.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials.
- Transport products throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
- Perform inventory movements and stock replenishment.
- Inspect equipment before each shift and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of recent forklift operating experience (required).
- Experience loading and unloading trailers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Steel-toe boots required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, if required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season.
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the shift.
- Overtime may be required based on production needs.
