FORKLIFT OPERATOR - FIRST SHIFT

We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a first-shift position at a logistics and distribution facility in Richmond Hill, Georgia. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Forklift Operator will operate electric forklifts, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and electric pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stage, and store palletized materials safely and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Load and unload products from trucks, containers, trailers, and vans. Move palletized materials throughout the warehouse. Place products in designated storage locations. Stage pallets and materials according to shipping and receiving schedules. Verify that loads are secure and products meet quality standards. Use an RF scanner to track inventory and product movement. Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Support additional warehouse responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

At least two years of experience operating electric forklifts, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. Experience loading and unloading trailers, staging pallets, and placing products in designated storage locations. Experience using RF scanners. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short periods. Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout an eight-hour shift. Reliable transportation, consistent attendance, and strong safety awareness. High school diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous forklift certification is preferred but not required. Clamp truck experience is preferred but not required.
