REACH TRUCK OPERATOR - SECOND SHIFT

Atlantis Employment Services is hiring Reach Truck Operators for a logistics and distribution facility in Richmond Hill, Georgia. This is a temporary assignment expected to last several weeks, with the possibility of extension or ongoing work based on operational needs.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Reach Truck Operator will move, retrieve, stage and store palletized products using a reach truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The operation requires experienced operators who can place and retrieve pallets accurately, maintain productivity and work independently with minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently. Retrieve and place palletized products in designated rack locations. Perform put-away, replenishment, staging and product movement. Move materials between receiving, storage, picking and shipping areas. Load and unload products when assigned. Use an RF scanner to record inventory and product movement. Verify product numbers, quantities, locations and load condition. Maintain accuracy when placing and retrieving pallets at elevated rack levels and within narrow warehouse aisles. Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns. Maintain productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Keep the work area clean and follow all warehouse safety procedures. Assist with additional warehouse duties when required.

REQUIREMENTS

At least three years of recent, hands-on reach truck experience. Strong experience with pallet put-away, retrieval, replenishment and staging. Ability to operate a reach truck independently with minimal supervision. Experience working with warehouse racking systems and narrow aisles. Experience using RF scanners. Ability to work accurately and safely in a fast-paced logistics environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short periods. Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform physical work throughout the shift. Reliable transportation and availability to work until 1:00 a.m. Consistent attendance, punctuality and strong safety awareness.
