00 What's a typical day as a Sit Down Forklift
You'll be: Operating sit-down and clamp forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise Stacking and storing merchandise in designated areas using various equipment including clamp and push-pull attachments Unloading inbound shipments and moving products to storage locations safely Pulling and preparing products for shipments, ensuring accuracy and meeting customer service standards Performing picking duties efficiently and moving products from staging/storage areas into trailers Maintaining accurate records and reports for inventory control and security Assisting with physical inventories, cycle counts, and ensuring proper stock rotation Operating RF scanning equipment and completing equipment inspection forms Reporting safety concerns and inventory discrepancies to management This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have at least 3 months of forklift experience and/or warehouse distribution equipment experience Hold a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) Are able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and lift/pull up to 50 lbs without restriction Can regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head Are comfortable working in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations Have general computer knowledge, Excel proficiency, and basic math skills Possess attention to detail and excellent customer service skills Are willing and able to obtain forklift certification Have the flexibility to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed .
