$15-$17/hr depending on experience Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. Perform inventory management tasks including barcode scanning for logistics accuracy and updating warehouse management systems. Assist with order picking and order fulfillment activities to ensure timely dispatch of goods. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by properly stacking pallets and materials. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Follow all forklift safety protocols and OSHA standards to prevent accidents or injuries. Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels. Handle heavy lifting tasks manually when necessary while adhering to manual handling safety procedures. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts and improve workflow efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or similar equipment in a warehouse setting. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for logistics. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and distribution processes. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy. Experience with equipment repair or basic maintenance is a plus. Excellent manual handling skills with attention to safety protocols during heavy lifting tasks. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is advantageous but not required. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
