Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Full-Time Forklift Operator Precision Hose & Expansion Joints - Stone Mountain, GA Precision Hose & Expansion Joints is looking for a dependable Full-Time Forklift Operator with reach truck experience to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping materials moving throughout the shop and making sure each department has what they need to keep production running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, dependable, and willing to help wherever needed. Job Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift and reach truck throughout the warehouse and production areas Pull and deliver materials from the warehouse to different departments Keep warehouse racking organized, labeled, and easy to access Move materials, pallets, parts, and finished goods as needed Place and retrieve materials from warehouse racking using a reach truck Assist departments with loading, unloading, and material handling Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse Make sure materials are placed in the correct locations Support shipping, receiving, fabrication, and other departments as needed When forklift work is slow, assist in hands-on shop and warehouse tasks Requirements Forklift experience required Reach truck experience required Must be comfortable operating a reach truck in warehouse racking areas Must be able to safely pull, move, and place materials on warehouse racks Must be reliable and show up on time Must be able to lift, move, and handle materials as needed Must be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment Must follow safety procedures at all times Must be willing to help in other areas when forklift work is caught up Warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping/receiving experience is a plus What We're Looking For We need someone who takes ownership of the warehouse and material flow. This person should be able to stay organized, keep track of where materials belong, and help make sure no department is waiting on parts or supplies. This is not just a forklift-only position. When there is no forklift work to be done, this employee will be expected to help with hands-on work around the shop.
