Forklift (Train on 1st shift and move to 2nd Shift) Our client is looking for Forklift operators in Carlisle, Iowa for a 2nd shift distribution center.

$22.75 /

Hour Hours:

2:30pm-11:00pm, (Monday-Friday) MUST be able to train on the day shift 6:00am-2:30pm for 2-4 weeks.

Job Duties:

Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities. Loading and unloading goods from warehouse. Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility. Stacking empty pallets. Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards. Use a handheld scanner to locate and track product.

Requirements:

Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required. Previous Forklift certification per OSHA standards. Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck (Forklift Operator (Sit down, battery powered). Minimum of 1-year previous forklift experience. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, sit, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.
