Job Description

We are looking for dependable workers to join our team for onion harvest season. We are currently hiring Samplers, Graders, and Forklift Drivers in Fruitland Idaho .
Pay and Schedule:
Graders Monday- Saturday 8am-5pm $16.50 Samplers Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm or done $16.50 Forklift Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm $16.50 What you'll do: Samplers
  • Collect product samples throughout the harvest process
  • Inspect samples for quality and condition
  • Label, date contract number and attach ID tags
  • Record accurate sample information
  • Follow food safety and quality procedures
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned Graders
  • Inspect and grade product according to established quality standards
  • Identify and report quality concerns
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Follow food safety and safety procedures
  • Work as part of a team during a busy harvest season
  • Perform other duties as assigned Forklift Drivers
  • Safely operate a forklift to move product and materials
  • Load, unload, and stage product as directed
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • Follow all forklift and workplace safety procedures
  • Complete required inspections
  • Perform other duties as assigned What you'll need:
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Able to work in a fast-paced harvest environment
  • Able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
  • Able to safely lift and move materials as required
  • Able to follow safety and quality requirements
  • Able to pass a color test
  • Forklift experience/certification for forklift positions
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Be drug-free
