Nampa, ID Salary:

21.07 Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Certified Forklift Operator for a reputable company in Nampa Idaho. Must have GED or High School Diploma, at least 2 years experience and be able to pass pre employment drug test and background check. Schedule is Sunday to Wednesday or Thursday to Wednesday 10 hour day & night shifts available.

A Shift-Sunday to Wednesday 9:00am-7:00pm $21.07/hr A Shift- Sunday to Wednesday 7:00am-5:00pm $21.07/hr C Shift Thursday to Wednesday 9:00am-7:00pm $21.07/hr

Position Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift to move raw materials, packaging, finished product and other materials from one location to another. Use a computer and company systems to track all material movement transactions, both incoming and outgoing. Observe all GMP, Food Safety, and Employee Safety requirements. Load/unload 53 foot trailers with a lift truck indoors and outdoors Shipping and receiving of products and materials Log incoming material and outgoing pallets into computer system Recognize shortages of materials in the system and order materials for next shift Staging and preparation of raw materials for use in operations. Follow detailed processes for assigned work to ensure proper completion.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively in English Ability to plan work and anticipate problems Computer skills (data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred) Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take/record measurements and understand tare weight)

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for an entire shift Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to get on and off of a forklift in a safe manner multiple times per shift Must be able to tolerate climate changes due to working in various temperatures indoors and outdoors.
