Material Handler / Forklift Operator 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | Glendale Heights, IL $19.00/hour

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM A well-established commercial distributor of electric motors and industrial products is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join their warehouse and distribution team in Glendale Heights. Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment throughout the warehouse Load, unload, move, and stage materials accurately and efficiently Receive incoming shipments and inspect for shortages, damages, or discrepancies Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and warehouse movements Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment Maintain organized inventory locations and warehouse cleanliness Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory Complete daily forklift inspections and required documentation Follow all OSHA safety standards and warehouse procedures Support daily warehouse operations and overall team productivity Qualifications Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred Forklift certification is a plus, but not required Experience using RF scanners preferred Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift Must have a valid driver's license Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Why Join This Team?
