Forklift Operators - Manteno, IL Our client, a leading food production company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the production department.

3rd shift What's the Job? Forklift Driver is responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. In addition to driving forklifts, a Forklift Driver also has a range of other warehouse duties such as packaging shipments or checking inventories. What's Needed? Qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old to work in the food manufacturing environment. Ability to follow work instruction and keep pace of shipping department is required. Individual must have thorough understanding of shipping policies and procedures. Effective communication skills are needed to support forklift team. This position requires incumbent to have keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Individual will need to pass certification. The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Individual must have good hand/eye coordination and excellent motor skills to operate necessary machinery safely. Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
