Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description This role involves working with large coils of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and steel. Using a crane, these coils are loaded into a machine that cuts them into smaller coils or large sheets. The position starts with tasks related to packing, but it evolves into machine operation as skills are developed. Responsibilities Operate machinery to cut large metal coils into smaller coils or sheets. Use a forklift and overhead crane to transport metal coils. Start with packing duties, placing metals on crates for loading. Participate in cross-training for all machinery operations. Ensure no lifting over 50 lbs, with heavier tasks handled by designated personnel. Essential Skills Past experience in manufacturing. Comfortable working in metal manufacturing environments with large metal coils. Basic English knowledge; bilingual skills are a plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in machine setup.
