Job Skills / Requirements LACOSTA is looking for an experienced forklift driver, warehouse team member for our site in Rockford, IL.

Job Schedule:

Monday

• Friday, some Weekends 2nd Shift
• 3:00 PM
• 11:30

PM Pay Rate:

Paid weekly (every Friday!) $20.00/hr

Requirements:

Ensures orderly production and warehouse areas by removing cardboard, pallets, and handling the recycling. Contributes to orderly operation of materials storage area by assembling totes. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections. Operates forklifts, cardboard compactor, auger, and other machinery. Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean. Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Minimum of THREE years of previous forklift operation Must have previous warehouse experience Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position Organizational Skills Ability to read and analyze information Adept to handling multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting deadlines Excellent time management Ability to lift heavy materials

Essential Functions:

Ability to wear required PPE (Hi-Vis Safety Vest, Safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes) for entire 8-hour shift. Must be able to constantly switch from standing/sitting. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Additional Information Pass background checks and drug screening Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 40lbs independently.
