You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely shipping and receiving processes. Responsibilities Safely operate stand-up YALE forklifts and other material handling equipment within the freezer environment. Pick and organize orders accurately using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems (WMS). Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and proper documentation. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against orders and preparing items for dispatch. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure forklifts and other machinery operate smoothly. Requirements Proven experience operating stand-up YALE forklift equipment in a distribution or warehouse setting. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, inventory management, and order picking procedures. Familiarity with forklift safety protocols, OSHA regulations, manual handling techniques, heavy lifting practices, and materials handling standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving processes and heavy equipment operation. Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly, stand for extended periods, and perform manual handling tasks safely. Pay:
