6AM-2:30PM Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team at Premier Transportation. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate efficient warehouse operations. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring timely shipping and receiving processes, ultimately supporting our mission to deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving. Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain organized inventory within the warehouse using RF scanners as needed. Assist with order picking and packing for deliveries to ensure timely dispatch. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment. Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various types of material handling equipment. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is essential. Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
