Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production area.
  • Load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas.
  • Perform routine pre and post-operational forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, including quantities, locations, and timestamps.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse or production floor.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to forklift operation and safety.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on forklift operation best practices.
Qualifiations:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts in a variety of environments, including narrow aisles and tight spaces.
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of forklift operation.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
