TI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Anderson, SC Recon Department for a Forklift Operator - Day Shift. Scope The Recon Forklift Operator is responsible for safely receiving, unloading, sorting, and stocking incoming parts, tools, and materials within the Receiving and Tool/Parts Market areas. This role supports daily warehouse operations by transporting materials to designated locations, maintaining inventory accuracy, assisting with cycle counts and physical inventories, supporting receiving line activities, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Duties and Responsibilities Use SAP and RF scanning equipment to receive, transfer, and remove inventory transactions, ensuring physical inventory matches system records. Receive, unload, inspect, sort, and stock incoming parts, tools, and materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required. Safely load and unload trailers, containers, and carrier shipments while ensuring proper load securement and damage prevention. Verify quantities and condition of received shipments and report discrepancies, shortages, damages, or quality concerns to supervision. Accurately label and place inventory in designated storage locations. Assist with replenishment of parts and tools to support refurbishing and production lines. Monitor email communications and assist with inbound and outbound truck scheduling. Escalate shipping, receiving, or transportation issues to Receiving Clerks and management as needed. Support battery recycling operations and storage shed activities to facilitate return shipments and material flow. Ensure compliance with hazardous material handling procedures when applicable. Perform spot counts, cycle counts, and physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area in accordance with 5S standards. Interact professionally with employees, vendors, carriers, and customers while promoting a One Team mentality. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures. Respond effectively to changing priorities and perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, receiving, inventory control, or material handling experience preferred. Experience in using warehouse management systems, SAP, or similar inventory software preferred. Forklift certification is preferred or ability to successfully complete company forklift training and certification. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to accurately perform inventory transactions and maintain detailed records. Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Perform repetitive movements involving lifting, reaching, bending, and twisting. Frequently bend, stoop, push, pull, and maneuver parts and containers. Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; team lifting required heavier items. Work in varying warehouse and outdoor environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
