Job Description

The Reach Rider (RR) Trainer is responsible for training and supporting distribution center associates in the safe and efficient operation of Rider Reach forklifts and related warehouse processes. The RR Trainer serves as a subject matter for replenishment, putaway, picking, and material handling equipment, while also contributing to daily warehouse operations as needed. The RR Trainer works closely with supervisors, leads, and management to support continuous improvement and operational excellence within the distribution center.
Shift:
2nd, Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm with opportunity for
OT Essential Duties:
Train new hires and existing associates on Reach Rider (RR) forklift operation, replenishment, putaway, and order picking processes Train associates on warehouse systems, including voice pick, RF equipment, and WMS functions Safely replenishes forward pick bin locations in the warehouse Partner with supervisors, leads, and managers to ensure associates are properly trained and certified Using voice pick and/or RF equipment for picking, processing, and put-away functions, as required Operating Jungheinrich material handling equipment, specifically the Stand-Up Rider Reach Forklift in a safe and efficient manner following the prescribed work methods. 2 Years of relevant work experience in a warehouse setting is preferred High School diploma or GED preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, required Ability to operate a Rider Counter Balance Forklift (RC) or Rider Reach Forklift (RR), or willingness to learn, preferred Ability and/or knowledge of various processing functions or willingness to learn, required Willingness to work in a non-temperature-controlled area, both hot and cold, as trailers are at outside temperature when pulled in for loading or unloading, required Familiarity with voice picking and/or radio frequency equipment is beneficial, preferred Ability to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities, including but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching is required Ability to lift 30 lbs consistently up to 50 lbs occasionally, required Saint-Gobain Abrasives offers powerful, precise, user-friendly solutions, which enable customers to cut, shape, and finish all materials in the most complex and challenging applications.
