Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory through barcode scanning, warehouse management systems (WMS), and manual counts to ensure accurate stock levels. Assist with order picking and order fulfillment using equipment such as order pickers and cherry pickers to meet shipping deadlines. Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform basic repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure optimal safety and performance. Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during all materials handling activities to prevent accidents. Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to heavy lifting guidelines and manual handling best practices. Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying inbound/outbound shipments, recording data accurately, and maintaining detailed logs. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks) and pallet jacks. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management techniques. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually when necessary. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations is preferred; experience with warehouse supervisor roles is a plus.
