The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of operations and supporting the overall productivity of the facility. Duties Operate forklifts, including standard forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks, to move materials and products throughout the warehouse. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper placement of goods in designated areas. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role within a warehouse or distribution center. Valid forklift operator certification is preferred. Familiarity with various types of material handling equipment, including order pickers and cranes. Strong ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
