Job Description
SUMMARY:
Performs responsible semiskilled work in processing orders, receiving, performing quality inspections, moving materials within the warehouse, and loading/unloading tile; does related work as required. Work is performed under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives product and orders both physically and in the system Performs quality inspections Operates a forklift and other equipment as needed Ensures trucks are unloaded properly Prepare orders based on packing lists; Achieves and maintains acceptable minimum standards of activity; Verifies color and records grade, shade, and quantity selected for shipment; Palletizes cartons according to shipping orders; Moves production materials into warehouse; Moves pallets of material within warehouse and trucks; Ensures trucks are loaded properly according to the shipping order; Assist order processors with selection and palletizing materials; Maintains order and condition of all material stored in warehouse; Identifies and processes return materials; Inspects assigned equipment on a daily basis; Performs general housekeeping duties; Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
