Position Overview:

CraneWerks is seeking a dependable shipping and receiving employee with experience around overhead cranes and the ability to operate forklifts to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading steel, gathering skids, moving materials safely throughout the shop, and supporting daily shipping and receiving needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Load and unload steel, materials, and products safely and efficiently. 2. Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the shop; overhead crane experience is preferred. 3. Gather skids and prepare materials for shipping, receiving, or internal movement. 4. Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and report any discrepancies. 5. Assist with organizing steel, supplies, and shop materials in designated areas. 6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols. 7. Collaborate with team members to complete daily shipping, receiving, and material-handling tasks. 8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Overhead crane experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, shop, or material-handling environments is preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize materials while following safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
