Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and safety‑focused Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our fast‑paced warehouse team. In this role, you will operate a variety of forklifts and material‑handling equipment to move, store, and organize materials that support daily production and distribution. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring efficient workflow, and keeping our warehouse clean, safe, and well‑organized. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment, including reach trucks, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, Hi‑Lo equipment, and other machinery to safely move materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trucks while following OSHA and company safety standards. Pick orders using barcode scanners and manual methods to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. Perform routine equipment inspections, report issues, and coordinate maintenance to keep forklifts and tools in optimal working condition. Maintain accurate inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), including performing cycle counts and verifying stock levels. Receive, process, store, and transport raw materials, packaging, totes, finished goods, and production supplies. Support production flow by delivering materials to and from the production floor and ensuring timely movement of all required items. Assist with shipping and receiving by verifying incoming shipments, preparing outgoing freight, and organizing storage areas. Stack pallets properly, consolidate finished goods, sort alternate packaging, and remove damaged or unusable skids. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse by sweeping floors, emptying trash, bailing cardboard, and keeping fire exits clear. Complete IQMS data entry and other documentation to support inventory accuracy and production tracking. Experience & Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse forklift equipment such as reach trucks, Hi‑Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools to ensure accurate inventory and order processing. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards , warehouse safety protocols, and best practices for operating heavy equipment and handling materials. Hands‑on experience with inventory control , order picking, cycle counting, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse logistics. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment checks, minor repairs, or communicate maintenance needs effectively. Strong understanding of manual material‑handling techniques and the ability to perform basic math for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments. Prior exposure to warehouse leadership, team coordination, shipping clerk or supervisory responsibilities is a plus and supports future growth opportunities .
