Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our team at a pharmaceutical logistics company specializing in freezer warehouse operations. This role involves safely handling and transporting pharmaceutical products within a cold storage environment, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to support efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled setting. Duties Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload pharmaceutical products within the freezer warehouse. Assist with inventory management by accurately receiving, storing, and retrieving stock items. Ensure proper stacking and storage of products to prevent damage or contamination in a cold environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to adhere to safety and sanitation standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs. Follow all safety protocols related to working in a freezer environment, including proper use of PPE. Assist with inventory counts and documentation to ensure accuracy of stock levels. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals efficiently. Qualifications Valid forklift operator certification preferred; previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is highly desirable. Ability to work in a freezer environment with temperatures typically below freezing. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects safely. Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Prior experience in pharmaceutical or cold storage logistics is a plus but not required. Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
