Shift Location:
1000 N. Black Branch Road Elizabethtown, KY 42701Schedule:
Full-Time; Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM- 11:00 PM (Eastern Time) Overtime and weekend work frequently required.
Pay:
Starting pay is $22.53 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour shift differential when working 2nd shift. Hourly employees are paid weekly via direct deposit. Pay increases are not based on tenure but on successfully completing company-provided training and qualifying to perform additional jobs. - Place protective bottom sheets and insert dunnage sheets when applicable.
- Count and verify unit and inch counts of units.
- Ensure proper load tags are in each unit.
- Restack and flip stack units as necessary.
- Complete quality checks as required.
- Relay messages to proper personnel promptly regarding necessary adjustments.
- Learn to read converting lineups.
- Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment; turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
- Adhere to production schedule.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Communicate effectively using radio equipment while adhering to proper radio etiquette.
- Assist other corrugator personnel as instructed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Forklift driving required; experience preferred.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read or learn to read tape measures and perform basic math calculations with speed and accuracy including percentages, measurement, volume, and rate.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Understanding of equipment design, capabilities, product layouts, and production specifications that can be translated into efficient operation.
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
