Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator on the third shift and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will operate various types of heavy equipment, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and forklifts, to efficiently handle materials, manage inventory, and support seamless warehouse distribution. Your expertise will ensure safe, accurate, and timely shipping and receiving processes while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Perform order picking using barcode scanning systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS). Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage of goods. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor repairs or notify maintenance for equipment repair needs to ensure optimal operation. Follow warehouse safety protocols including OSHA standards and forklift safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Support warehouse management with distribution tasks such as organizing storage areas, stacking pallets safely, and maintaining a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo lifts. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and shipping & receiving procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments and adherence to forklift safety protocols. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload processes, and materials handling techniques. Warehouse experience with heavy equipment operation preferred; certification in forklift operation is highly desirable. From $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
