Job Description

WAREHOUSE WORKER / FORKLIFT & REACH TRUCK OPERATOR 1ST SHIFT
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OPERATING BOTH A SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT AND A REACH TRUCK.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker / Material Handler who is comfortable operating BOTH a sit-down forklift AND a reach truck. Candidates must be able to safely and confidently operate both types of equipment. This is NOT a forklift-only position — you will also be responsible for picking orders, moving materials, loading/unloading, and other hands-on warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate BOTH Crown sit-down forklifts AND Crown reach trucks Pick orders from 5-tier racking systems Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse Load and unload materials and finished products Distribute materials to manufacturing lines Maintain inventory using FIFO procedures Report damaged inventory or discrepancies Operate electric pallet jacks, shrink wrap machines, and pallet banders as needed Perform daily equipment safety checks Assist with shipping and receiving duties Follow all safety procedures, cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and work instructions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
MUST be able to operate BOTH a sit-down forklift AND a reach truck 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience preferred 1-2 years of reach truck experience preferred Must be comfortable switching between both types of equipment Ability to read pick tickets, issue sheets, and bills of lading Basic math and computer skills Hazmat experience is a plus Must successfully complete forklift and reach truck certification testing within the first week
Physical Requirements:
Routinely lift and move 20-50 lbs Occasionally lift/move up to 75 lbs Push/pull up to 70 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, and lifting Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled
PPE Requirements:
Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes Safety glasses Gloves and additional PPE as required
IMPORTANT
Candidates MUST have the ability to operate BOTH a sit-down forklift AND a reach truck. Applicants with experience on only one type of equipment will not meet the requirements for this position. #HP123
Pay:
$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
