Join Our Team! Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a hands-on position in a professional industrial environment? We are seeking a dependable WHS/Drumming Loader - Forklift Operator to support chemical packaging, warehouse operations, and terminal activities. This position is ideal for someone who is safety-minded, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working around industrial equipment and bulk liquid chemicals. You will play an important role in safely transferring and packaging products while ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining a clean, organized work area. What You'll Do Control and monitor the transfer of various bulk liquid fine chemicals into drums and totes using automated filling equipment. Connect railcars and trucks to transfer lines safely and correctly. Read and understand printed fill orders and ensure the correct product quantities and weights are transferred. Operate drum and tote scales and assist with generating accurate filling documentation. Prepare automated drum scales with the appropriate hoses, lances, and labels. Communicate with the control room throughout filling and transfer operations. Empty transfer lines using pigging procedures. Operate a forklift to safely move drums and totes throughout the warehouse. Use scanners and other equipment to accurately track and move inventory. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all plant safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements. Assist with terminal emergency response activities, including spills and fire emergencies, when properly trained and certified. Help ensure customer satisfaction through safe, accurate, and efficient operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Why This Opportunity? Requirements:
What We're Looking For Previous forklift experience is required. Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, chemical, terminal, or industrial environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow written instructions. Ability to safely operate equipment and follow established procedures. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work around industrial equipment and chemical products. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required by the position. TWIC required
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent. minimum of 2 years forklift experience
