Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo lifts to load and unload materials efficiently. Manage inventory using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems to track stock levels accurately. Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision to meet shipping deadlines while ensuring quality control. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials movement in compliance with OSHA safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols in all warehouse operations. Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage or dispatch. Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members and warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow. Utilize barcode scanners for logistics tracking during order picking, loading, unloading, and inventory management tasks. Follow all safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Experience Proven experience operating forklifts (including lift trucks), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or Hi-Lo lifts in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures. Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes along with barcode scanning for logistics accuracy. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and heavy equipment operation. Experience in materials handling, manual lifting techniques, and heavy equipment repair is preferred. Previous roles involving warehouse supervision or leadership experience are a plus but not required. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy are essential.
