Job Description
Warehouse / Material Handler Medford, MA Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Warehouse / Material Handler with forklift experience to support warehouse and production operations at a food manufacturing facility in Medford, MA. This position is responsible for safely operating a forklift, moving and staging materials, loading and unloading products, maintaining inventory organization, and supplying production areas with necessary materials. Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the facility. Load and unload trucks and incoming/outgoing shipments. Move, organize, and stage raw materials, packaging, and finished products. Supply production lines with materials needed for daily operations. Move finished products from production to designated warehouse or storage areas. Receive and properly store incoming materials. Assist with shipping and receiving operations. Verify materials, quantities, labels, and designated storage locations. Maintain organized inventory and warehouse areas. Report damaged products, shortages, or inventory discrepancies to management. Follow all GMP, food safety, sanitation, PPE, and workplace safety procedures . Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and work area. Assist the warehouse and production teams with additional duties as needed. Requirements Forklift experience is required. Previous warehouse or material handling experience required. Experience loading, unloading, staging, and moving materials. Previous experience in manufacturing or food production is preferred. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift. Strong attention to safety and organization. Must be dependable and maintain good attendance. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must follow all GMP, PPE, sanitation, and food-safety requirements. Flexibility to work overtime based on operational needs. Physical Requirements This is a physically active warehouse position requiring frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
