Position Summary The Freezer Replenishment & Reach Truck Operator is responsible for maintaining product availability within the warehouse by performing replenishment, put-away, and let-down functions using warehouse equipment and the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This position ensures inventory accuracy, supports warehouse operations, and maintains safe and efficient workflow in a fast-paced freezer environment. Key Responsibilities Inventory Replenishment & Slot Management Monitor and complete replenishment tasks to ensure adequate product availability for order selection Perform let-down functions to replenish pick locations from reserve storage areas Perform put-away activities for inbound inventory according to established warehouse procedures Verify product placement and slot accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded and updated in the WMS Maintain organized and properly stocked warehouse storage locations Inventory Accuracy & Quality Control Identify and report inventory discrepancies, product shortages, damages, and location issues to the Inventory Team or Supervisor Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities as assigned Support inventory accuracy initiatives through proper scanning and recordkeeping practices Ensure product rotation procedures are followed when applicable Equipment Operation & Warehouse Support Safely operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment Transport products efficiently throughout the warehouse while following all safety procedures Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical concerns promptly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies and warehouse operating procedures Utilize proper lifting techniques and safe material handling practices Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety standards Maintain compliance with food safety and warehouse operational requirements Team Support Work collaboratively with warehouse, inventory, receiving, and order selection teams Communicate operational concerns and inventory issues to leadership in a timely manner Assist with special projects and additional warehouse duties as assigned Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment preferred Experience operating a reach truck and other warehouse material handling equipment required Experience working in a fast-paced freezer or cold storage environment preferred Experience utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred Skills & Qualifications Valid driver's license required Ability to safely operate reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy Basic computer and scanning device skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment Physical Demands Ability to repeatedly lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift throughout the workday Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods of time Frequent pushing, pulling, steering, and handling of palletized products and carts Ability to climb and balance while performing warehouse functions Ability to see, hear, speak, and perform work requiring depth perception and peripheral vision Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse and freezer distribution environment Regular exposure to extreme cold temperatures, including freezer conditions of approximately -20°F Exposure to moving mechanical equipment and warehouse traffic Exposure to icy floor conditions and refrigerated work areas Frequent exposure to moderate to loud noise levels Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) Equal Employment Opportunity Statement New England Ice Cream Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
