Forklift Operator

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a skilled Turret Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team in Hagerstown, MD . This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating a turret truck in narrow aisle and high-rack warehouse environments . The selected candidate will be responsible for safely moving, picking, staging, and organizing products while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a commitment to workplace safety.

The Day-to-Day:

Operate turret forklift equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting Load and unload materials from trucks, staging areas, and storage locations Move products to and from high-rack areas using proper equipment procedures Pick and stage orders accurately according to company standards Complete daily equipment inspections before use Report mechanical concerns, damages, or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift Follow all company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety guidelines Assist with inventory control, product verification, and cycle counts as needed Communicate clearly with team members, leads, and supervisors to support workflow

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a turret forklift/turret truck Must understand that this role requires turret truck operation, not standard sit-down forklift experience only Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking or staging orders Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when needed Dependable attendance and punctuality are required Good communication and teamwork skills Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Strong safety awareness while operating warehouse equipment

Pay Rate:

$23.00 per hour

Schedule:
