Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a CDL Class A Local Driver and Forklift Operator. This position is in Battle Creek, MI Direct Hire 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri) Local Driving and Forklift warehouse work. Great company, must pass DOT and background.

Job Duties:

A Truck & Forklift Driver must have a safe driving record, follow all state andnational driving laws, rules, and regulations. This position will follow prearranged routes to destinations or use maps and GPS to navigate routes. This position is also responsible for moving finished products from the production floor to warehouse storage shelves, swapping lines out with material, pulling products to prepare for shipping, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and documenting all inventory that is handled. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan routes to meet delivery schedules Supervise loading and unloading of cargo off truck and ensure cargo is secured Follow all state and national large truck driving safety regulations and standards Complete documentation for mileage and cargo; keep track of mileage, fuel, and toll expenses; confirm inventory matches shipping documents Inspect truck daily for damage or maintenance problems Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors Maintain vehicle equipment Practice safe driving habits Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions Regularly operate a forklift, loading and unloading lines within warehouse Conform to
