Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Forklift Operator to join our team in Grand Ledge, Michigan. This position is responsible for safely moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and supplying production lines within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties:

Operate sit-down forklifts to move automotive parts and materials. Load and unload inbound and outbound freight trailers. Supply staging areas and production lines with necessary components. Verify inventory counts, part numbers, and shipping documentation. Follow strict facility safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience required . Experience working specifically within an automotive manufacturing facility required . Strong spatial awareness and ability to navigate tight warehouse lanes safely. Dependable attendance and ability to work the designated 10-hour shift schedule. High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable working in a loud, active manufacturing environment.
