Full Job Description Description:
Responsible for the safe and legal handling of raw materials and finished goods. Ensuring that production lines are supplied with raw materials needed during a production run and remaining materials are returned to the storage warehouse in a manner that adheres to SnackCraft's storage procedures.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a food production and warehouse setting. The facility is not mechanically temperature controlled and at times will require work in hot temperatures. The floor surface is concrete. The noise level is moderate with no vibration. Material movement takes place throughout the facility.
Physical Demands:
Hearing and speaking to exchange information. Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling moderately heavy objects as assigned by position (up to 50lbs). Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment. Reaching overhead, above shoulders and horizontally. Bending at the waist, kneeling, sitting, or crouching Will require sitting for long periods of time

Forklift Operation:
Proficiency in operating forklifts, in all areas of operation including production, loading & unloading, and general material movements.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and SnackCraft programs, policies and procedures.

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Time Management:
Prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.

Adapting to changes in workload and job requirements.

Maintains good housekeeping practices, including consolidating warehouse locations. Attention to
Detail:
Properly and accurately handles, stores, and distributes raw materials, finished goods, allergens, and identity claimed materials using the FEFO (First Expired First Out) principle.
Core Responsibilities:
Be the example in following GMPs, OSHA Safety, and all other procedures. Provides production with correct packaging materials, pallets, ingredients, and film Wraps, tags, and transports finished goods from the production area to the warehouse or designated staging location Transporting materials to different locations within the facility. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency. Securing loads to the machine before transportation. Inspecting damages to vehicles. Operating and managing technical equipment. Identifying workplace safety hazards. Adhering to safety management standards. Adhering to production schedules. Uses FEFO (First Expired First Out) when pulling raw materials from storage to production lines Uses FIFO (First in First Out) when storing finished product Places raw materials in a designated staging area for review by the warehouse supervisor prior to returning to stock Check the overrun area before each new run to see if there is a product that can be rewrapped Maintains good housekeeping practices, including consolidating of warehouse locations Adheres to SnackCraft's allergen control program and avoids cross contamination Properly handles, stores, and distributes raw materials, finished goods, allergens, and identity claimed materials Adheres to all SnackCraft's programs, policies, and procedures
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/ GED Hilo Certification (OSHA)
