Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator- (Clamp/Squeezer)

Job Summary:

Tire company located in Leslie, Michigan, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining warehouse organization, and safely operating equipment such as a squeezer forklift to move and stack materials.

Warehouse Environment:

The Warehouse Associate works in a fast-paced warehouse setting that may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and heavy equipment. The position requires standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift while following all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely, ensuring accurate handling of all shipments Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage and verify quantities against shipping documents Operate a squeezer forklift to move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse Stack, stage, and store products in designated areas to maintain an organized workspace Assist with inventory control, including counting and tracking materials as needed Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse experience preferred Experience operating a squeezer forklift or similar material-handling equipment is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Working Conditions:

Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] regularly Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting May require overtime, weekends, or shift work depending on operational needs
