Location:
Sterling Heights, MI — near 18 Mile Rd. & Van Dyke Ave.
Industry:
Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing We are currently hiring Forklift Operators to join our team at a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. Available Shifts & Pay 1st
Shift:
6:00 AM-2:30 PM — $17.50/hour ($1.50 Raise after 90 days) Monday-Friday Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs 2nd
Shift:
1:00 PM-9:00 PM — ($1.50 Raise after 90 days) $17.50/hour base pay + $0.75 shift premium Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs 3rd
Shift:
6:00 PM-2:30 AM — ($1.50 Raise after 90 days) $17.50/hour base pay + $1.50 shift premium Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs Job Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to move automotive parts and materials throughout the facility Load, unload, stage, and transport materials as directed Supply production lines with necessary materials Inspect materials and loads for damage Follow all safety procedures and company policies Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform daily forklift inspections Work efficiently to support production requirements Requirements Requirements Must be able to pass a national background check Previous forklift experience preferred Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy manufacturing environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions Automotive or manufacturing experience is a plus Benefits Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday Pay Health Insurance Benefits Dental & Vision Coverage Union Shop Apply today to join our Tier 1 automotive manufacturing team in Sterling Heights!
